Our Journey
Never forget from where you come from
As you can see from the photo below, we started out in a nylon tent traveling from California to Florida in February 1975. This was our honeymoon paradise for 6 weeks. The tent is one of the first nylons from Coleman at the time.
We graduated to a 20 foot rPod and traveled around in it for recreation for a few years.
From there we wanted to find our forever home, outside of California, so we bought a 40 foot fifth-wheel and full time RV’ed with a 3 to 5 year plan to find that one place that was build just for us. It took 11 months.
Now that we have lived in our forever home for 6 years, we are itching to hit the road again, so we just purchased a 25 foot trailer that we can easily go anywhere, at anytime, when ever we want too!!!
Our trips planned and will share through 2026.
Our purpose for this section, we are hoping that you’ll join us in our journeys.
Here is what we have planned so far:
Our first trip was the Hot Springs Village, HSV RV Park for a short test run. Done.
-Our next trip is to Brady Mountain Resort near Lake Quachita Arkansas
-Next is the HSV Roadrunners Club de-winterize Spring Camp at the HSV RV Park
-We are heading north a few miles to Petit Jean State Park, AR - wonderful place
-The following month we are heading down to Texas, where we spent many nights full-timing. We are heading to Tyler State Park for five nights.
-Next we’re heading to our grand kid(s) graduation(s) in Tennessee
Many more are being planned and when finalized, I’ll put them here…
—We will be riding along the famous Route 66 starting in Chicago in August and ending up in Santa Monica in early October this year. We would love to rendezvous with you somewhere along the way. —
Our hopes and dreams are to visit all of the National Parks in America.
